Center Services
We assist writers in all stages of the writing process, including: understanding and interpreting assignments, brainstorming, organizing concepts and ideas, research methods, MLA and APA style formatting, citations, revision, grammar and punctuation.
We treat each project as an opportunity for students to learn and grow. Our goal is to educate students about the writing process. This method allows students to polish their work while developing a confidence in their abilities.
Our tutors are available through on-site consultations, electronic and telephone conferencing, classroom presentations, campus workshops and community outreach.
Electronic Submission
Electronic submissions should be sent to: mcgregor.writingcenter@antioch.edu. Please submit work using Microsoft Word or Rich Text formats only.
Please allow 48 hours for tutors to respond and revise work. For works over fifteen pages, please expect a few more days depending on size. Tutors are not held responsible for last minute submissions.
If you would like to work with a specific tutor, you must indicate that tutor’s name in your email request.
Students should indicate what aspect(s) of the paper need attention (grammar, style formatting, etc.) Students may also ask for a general review of their work to spot problem areas.
Students should include faculty instructions and comments when submitting work (where applicable).
