Number of Hours per Week Required to Work On Campus: Variable, at least 3-5 hours

Description of Work

  • Assist enrollment services managers with the gathering of market research for AUM as directed (e.g. compiling reports on the features of our regional and other programmatic competition). Past reports have included comparative analysis of competitor programs in the local area.
  • Assist in researching current best practices in adult education, recruitment, and non-residential student services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be in good academic and financial standing;
  • Must be eliglble for Federal work study.
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written skills are a must, with an additional focus on providing professional and economical reports by specific deadlines.
  • Effective organizational and collaborative skills.
  • High level of energy and strong work ethic.
  • Appreciation of diverse academic community.
  • The ability to critically review literature, web, and other media resources and summarize findings.
  • Familiarity with, or willing to learn, Antioch’s library research services.
  • Computer literacy required (Excel, Word, web navigation, etc.).
  • Experience in a professional office setting preferred.
  • Sense of humor a definite plus.

Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, lifting and carrying or otherwise moving objects up to 25 pounds. May require some traveling between Yellow Springs campuses or other outreach locations. Requires daily use of computer and other standard office equipment.
