Biographical Information
Elizabeth Lutz-Hackett previously taught English at Kettering Fairmont High School from 1995 to 2001 to grades 9, 10, and 11. Since 2001 she has taught at Yellow Springs High School where she currently teaches English Ten, English 12, and Advanced Placement English. Ms. Lutz Hackett has served on a variety of committees including The Water Unit Committee, Principal's Council, Best Practice Committee, and Teacher Evaluation Committee. Currently, she is also the Literacy Team leader for both the middle school and high school. Over the past fourteen years Ms. Lutz-Hackett has presented on a local, statewide,and national level for organizations such as NCTE and The Yellow Springs Library Association. In addition to many conferences and workshops, Ms. Lutz-Hackett completed The Ohio Writing Workshop at Miami University in 1998. Ms. Lutz-Hackett has been a Antioch Midwest adjunct since 2002 and has taught Language Arts Methods, Foundations of Education, and The Context of the High School.
