Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is the GRE or any other test required for admission?

A. No formal exams are required for admission into the program, but if you have taken them previously, you may include the scores in your application packet.

Q. Must a student pass all the appropriate sections of the PRAXIS II before applying for licensure?

A. Yes, the State of Ohio requires this exam for licensure application.

Q. When is the PRAXIS offered?

A. Schedule is published one year in advance. A copy of that schedule is posted in the student lounge. Copies are aslo available inthe program office

Q. Is it possible to begin the program and attempt to make up deficits in content areas at the same time?

A. This is dependent on the amount of coursework that is missing.
