Community Service Awareness Day
Antioch University Midwest has a legacy of a commitment to betting the world through study, career, and community service. The faculty, staff, students and alumni take that responsibility seriously. As such, in 2010 the Executive Team proclaimed June 12 to be known as Community Service Awareness Day. In conjunction with this day, we dedicate one week toward the awareness of regional community service.
Each year, AUM partners with three community agencies. Our partner agencies from 2010 include House of Bread, Clothes That Work and the Yellow Springs Community Foundation. Our 2011 partner agencies include Daybreak, Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Yellow Springs Arts Council. Our new partner agencies will be announced this summer.
