ClarkStateLogoColorYELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio —Antioch University Midwest (AUM) will host an informational open house on Tuesday, March 5 from 6 – 7:30 pm for its new business management program now offered at Clark State Community College (CSCC).

The open house will be in the Clark State Brinkman Center on the downtown campus in room B104, the Boardroom at 100 South Limestone Street.

AUM announced in January that it had signed an exclusive agreement with Clark State Community College that allows CSCC students and alumni to complete their AUM bachelor’s degree in management with unprecedented convenience and affordability in Springfield.

The open house is a chance for interested CSCC students and alumni to learn more about the program from faculty members and get information regarding the cost and financial aid opportunities, including special scholarships for Clark State graduates.

AMUReunion-0711Unlike other 2-year/4-year partnerships, this program allows students to complete an AUM bachelor’s degree right on the CSCC campus downtown at the Brinkman Center. The courses will be taught by AUM faculty who have extensive professional experience related to business management. The credits earned at Clark State will seamlessly transfer to AUM and be applied toward the completion of the bachelor’s degree in two years.

Students who receive a bachelor’s degree in management from AUM gain marketable knowledge and skills expected of all managers in areas such as management science, accounting, budgeting, and economics.

Courses for the program are offered year-round on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Brinkman Center, which makes them accessible for working adults. The schedule is as follows:

  • Spring (January-April) *Spring 2013 starts in March
  • Summer (May-July)
  • Fall (August-December)
  • Most courses are 15 weeks long
  • Hybrid courses are offered for students blending the best of online and in-class learning
